Hidden FMV sequence:
Click on the Credits option at the main menu,
then push X while the credits are being displayed.
Cast a Fast magic spell:
Cast a fast magic spell by pushing Triangle to
display the pause menu, then choosing the "Skills" option. Then
after you exit out and resume your game with the spell will be cast without
delay.
Lower the AP cost of long chains:
Quickly push R2, L2 (or L2,
R2) after getting a ''chain 4'' or higher attack in order to switch to
another character and then back to the original character. If you do this
correctly, then your chain number will be reset to 1 without slowing your
attack.
How to Defeat the rider:
When you come back to the main land and head
towards Lenelle, you will normally run into the rider on the black horse.
Purchase three or more Meteor and Inferno spells. If you use around
three Meteor and one Inferno spell, then you can quickly eliminate the threat
of this rider.
Easy way to get to Lenelle:
This trick will help you get to the town of
Lenelle quicker, and get the items and equipment you need. When you start your
trek to Lenelle, about half way or more, open your options screen and save the
game. When you meet the rider on the way to the town, quickly open up the
options screen and select "Load game". This will help keep the rider
off of your back until you are ready to defeat him.
Easy money:
Go to the sewers and beat Bacites for their
tails. Get around 30 or more, then go visit Merden. He will give you over
1,000 gold pieces for these tails.
Get easy experience points:
At the Mountain of the Wise there are
creatures called Onis there which are worth anywhere from 3145 to 3250
experience points.
Get easy money and experience:
Go past the Khosoni Labrynth (around level
12) and fight the Fire Imps. These are found in encounters on the world map on
a hill to the left of the Lenele gate (the name of place is Forest Night). The
Fire Imps give around 250 XP and sometimes drop Garnets or Citrines. Garnets
are valued at 10,000 and Citrines are about the same. These can be sold to a
merchant in Khosoni.
Quick spell casting to save your life:
When you cast spells, there is an initial charge time before the spell is
cast. While you wait for the charge to finish and the spell to take effect,
you could be getting killed, and losing control of that summon and adding
another enemy to the list.
If, during the charge animation you go into one of the game's menus such as
'Skills' or 'Inventory', a glitch in the game cancels out any charge times and
instantly casts the spell.
This comes in handy when you NEED to heal instantly. Cast heal on the person,
press Triangle, click on inventory, and you hear the heal spell come out
instantly. Try a barrage of fire arrows and you will kill just about any boss.
Its cheesy, and it takes advantage of a game's fluke, but if you need it
enough and it means not having to reload 2 hours of gameplay, I don't feel
cheap using it.
