Pressure Sensitiviy:
It is necessary to utilize pressure sensitive controls. The harder you tap
the button or the longer you hold it down the harder the maneuver will be
performed. This is especially useful when stiff-arming as a runner and
tackling as a defender.
Realisitc gameplay features:
When you are a quarterback and a receiver is 30 yards down the field, you
will have to wait a couple of seconds to build up strength before you launch
the ball. In previous game you could have just tapped the buttons and thrown a
bomb to your receiver.
Jump Start Option:
Before the offense snaps the ball (whether you are on offense or defense)
you can press the L2 button and see your offensive/defensive matchups.
Headset Voice Recognition:
This is a little bonus added for gamer who purchased SOCOM and the
headset for it. The USB VR support allows gamers to call plays rather than
performing the specific key functions manually. There are 40 different voice
commands between the offensive and defensive set.
Online Options:
Once again 989 Sports provides top of the line online action, gamers can
email buddies, find friends who are playing other 989 games, create 64-person
tournaments, view leaderboards, go to chat rooms, and get player rankings.
