Unlimited MVP points:
Reach a desired level of MVP points to spend on a player,
stadium, or throwback jersey. Use them to unlock a bonus, then
save your roster. Do not save your profile. Instead, reload your
profile. Your MVP points will be at their pre-purchase amount.
Use them to continue buying as many other bonuses as desired.
Easy Points:
For easy points for unlockables do this: Start a new dynasty with the
Yankees. Simulate the entire season until all of the the regular season
games are done. It will say something like \"Congratualtion, you get
2000 points, or some other miniscule amount. SAVE YOUR DYNASTY HERE.
Then go into the playoff, and it will say that you get 15000-20000 points.
Save your profile here, but not the dynasty. Exit the the dynasty
w/o saving, and load the dynasty again. You will again get a lot of
points. Do this as many times as possible.
MVP points:
Upon finishing various goals, you will get a message
stating that you have earned MVP Points. Go into the MVP Rewards
Checklist prompt in "My MVP" to check how many
points you have earned, and how many are needed to unlock the
various bonuses. You will earn twice as many MVP Points under
the Pro difficulty setting, three times as many under the All-Star
difficulty setting, and four times as many under the MVP difficulty
setting. Also, MVP points are not awarded when games are simulated.
The classic players that are unlocked will begin at age 30 and
will age and retire like other players.
Unlocking Players:
Unlock a player in the locked players menu. Then go to your franchise and go to
the free agent list. Sign the unlocked player to your franchise. Then save your
franchise. DO NOT SAVE YOUR MVP POINTS! Then restart your game and look at your
franchise and you will see the unlocked player. If you check your MVP Points,
they were not subtracted for unlocking that player. You can do this for all the
players in the Locked Players List!
Barry Bonds:
Go to "Edit Player" and select Jon Dowd of
the San Francisco Giants. Change his number and name to Barry
Bonds #25. His name will be annoucned when he comes to the plate
for San Francisco, and all of his statistics are already in the
game as "Jon Dowd".
