Rally D'Umbria: Hidden message:
Enter the Rally D'Umbria in Special Events. When you
start the race, look on the road just under the Gran Turismo finishing
tape. On the asphalt the message "Dio lo benedice - fate
il suo guidare il più sicuro e divertirsi" will appear,
which has no sense as written, but should mean "God bless
you...drive safely and have fun".
Trail Mountain: Very tall tree:
On the Normal Trail Mountain track, drive to the end
of the big straightaway with the tunnel. Before you get to the
big banked sharp turn, look out over the valley to see a very
tall lone tree.
Apricot Hill: Fire:
Drive in reverse and get to the second turn before
you start going downhill. Look directly over on the mountain side
to see what appears to be grayish smoke coming up and blowing
towards the right.
Special rims:
The "Today's Special Rims" rotate every thirty
game days. There are thirty different sets of rims. There are
439 total "Today's Special Rims". If you see a set you
like, you will only see them every thirty game days -- buy them
while you can.
Mercedes SLR McLaren 2003: Retractable
spoiler:
Put any replay camera on the normal replay mode and
look at the trunk area of the car. A wing comes out of the trunk
to help slow the car down.
Special black cars:
You can find very high powered cars in the Used Car
showrooms. For example, you may see a black (not the usual red
and white) Toyota GT-ONE (TS020) Race Car for 1.2 million credits.
This is less than half price from Toyota at 4.5 million credits.
Other special cars that are available for very low prices are
the Mazda 787B Race Car (black), the Nissan R92CP Race Car (black)
and the Nissan R390 GT 1 Race Car (black). These cars appear during
the last week of the showroom changing cycle (starting at day
694).
